Pittrice e scultrice nata in Italia, acquisisce i rudimenti artistici fin dall'infanzia .Ogni angolo di casa aveva il tocco artistico della madre, dalla cartapesta nella vasca da bagno per creare qualche scultura alle bambole fatte a mano per lei e i fratelli. Rachele porta dentro il segno tangibile della madre, artista grafica e scultrice, che agisce come filo conduttore nella visione del suo mondo fantastico fatto di bellezze floreali, di panorami colorati, di ritratti dove il comune denominatore resta sempre il momento sperimentale e innovativo, specialmente dal punto di vista tecnico. Ha vissuto in Inghilterra quasi 4 anni ed ha cominciato ad esporre. Nelle opere traspare la teatralità’ e l’amore per la poesia. Scrive anche racconti per bambini, passione che ha coltivato dall’infanzia. Il luogo di provenienza dei genitori, la Sardegna e il Sud Africa lasceranno tracce in tutto il suo percorso di ricerca. Appassionata della vita e del colore, attraverso la sofferenza in seguito alla malattia della madre, ha maturato un’attenzione per i temi sociali, femminili e spirituali.. ha portato avanti le sue ricerche, intensificando il calibrato effetto cromatico nei ritratti dove è evidente la freschezza dei segni adoperati nei bozzetti studio che arricchiscono la ricerca per la realizzazione di soggetti con altri materiali, trovano la propria chiave espressiva nel segno preciso di immagini indelebili, forza determinante di dimensione onirica in ogni loro lavoro.
